Eva Mendes – looking fierce and fab while leaving the nail salon yesterday afternoon – will next star in Southbound, a drama about the US border patrol and conflicts with Mexico… and her leading man will be none other than Matty! Sure, the last film Eva did was that wretched remake of The Women, but we still hope this one will be better! 

Eva Mendes launched Vida by  Eva Mendes at Macy’s Herald Square in New York City on 25th of July’09. The “Cleaner” cutie hopped on top of one of her trusty new bedding supplies, greeting a gathered group of fans and onlookers during the course of the day. The promotional duties come shortly after the 35-year-old responded to criticism about her weight. “I don’t have a starving body I have a healthy toned body,” she said. “I don’t think people should criticize my [Calvin Klein] advert. I prepped for it a lot and I think it’s great. It was in the desert and we were all oiled up for it. That’s my job!”
