Making for quite the evening to remember,  Britney Spears took the stage as a winner at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday evening on 9th August’09. Held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, the “Gimme More” singer wore a daring, tiny black sparkling dress as she was handed her surfboard by Disney darling Miley Cyrus. Miss Spears was honored during the night’s festivities with the Ultimate Choice Award for her lifetime achievements. Talking about her rollercoaster career, Brit said, “The last couple of years have been quite a ride for me, the media has criticized my every move and printed a skewed perception of who I really am as a human being.”

On break from her Circus tour duties,  Britney Spears was spotted changing up her hairdo at Andy Lecompte Salon in West Hollywood on Sunday on 2nd August’09. After hours of salon work at the popular stylist’s shop, the “Gimme More” singer ended up switching her hair extensions – leaving with a bright blonde hairdo after arriving with her streaky brunette locks. As for her touring duties, Miss Spears is off duty until she kicks off another round of shows in North America – beginning August 20th in Ontario and wrapping up in Las Vegas on September 27th. After another break, Brit Brit will be making her way around the world for six shows in Australia taking place during the month of November. 

Ready to bring an end to Britney’s European tour dates,  Britney Spears was spotted leaving the Hyatt hotel at the Potsdamer Platz in Berlin on 27th of July’09. The “Gimme More” singer was on her way to the O2 World Arena for what will be the final show on the Circus tour until things pick back up in Ontario, Canada on August 20th. Meanwhile, it has been reported that Miss Spears also may find herself under her father’s control when her lengthy tour duties come to an end in November. Jamie Spears is planning to ask a judge to review the terms of her conservatorship, but must wait until the end of her Circus shows, as “a number of concert vendors’ contracts specifically stated that the singer would remain under her father’s watchful eye throughout the duration of the tour”.
