Glamming up the red carpet, Beyonce Knowles turned up for the 2009 BET Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Sunday (June 28).Slated to take the stage during the course of the evening, the “Cadillac Records” cutie is teaming up with rapper hubby Jay-Z for a tribute to Michael Jackson.Joining the pair in a full night of tribute plans are numerous other performers including Ne-Yo and The-Dream.Talking about having to switch up plans due to the tragic passing of the King of Pop, awards’ producer Stephen Hill told the Associated Press, “To change it up in three days is something that’s not easy but they’re all willing and looking forward to it. There’s a direct line from Ne-Yo to Michael Jackson. There’s a direct line from Beyonce to Michael Jackson. There’s a direct line from Jay-Z to Michael Jackson. I think they’ll want to pay tribute in their own way.”
