Eva Longoria’s New Gig Picked Up by CW
Season 8 of “Desperate Housewives” will be the final season of the show and the episode on January 8, 2012 will be the show’s series finale. Eva Longorio, who has Gabrielle Solis since 2004, is already planning her second wind in Hollywood so as to avoid becoming irrelevant and typecast.
Eva sold a script for a legal drama to CW, which will be called “Vega v. Vega” and will revolve around a young successful attorney who has to work in a firm with her mother who is also an attorney.
Not sure whether Eva is the young attorney or the mother attorney – my guess is that she’s the young, successful, beautiful attorney with the amazing clothes and who wears heels that are entirely too high for the courtroom.
Eva’s fellow housewhores, Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, and Marcia Cross, are definitely not planning for life after “Desperate Housewives” as far as I can tell, because their IMDB sites are slacking after the “Desperate Housewives” listing.
Wonder how Eva feels about going from ABC to the CW????
